Attention Junior and Seniors! MHS will host a College Fair on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 10:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m. in the cafeteria. Registration is REQUIRED if you wish to attend. To register, please refer to the annoucement in the 11th or 12th grade canvas shell OR scan the QR code on the flyers located around the school. If you have any questions, please see the college adviser or your school counselor.
Yearbook is selling business ads at this time. If you would like to purchase one, please reach out to Mrs. Stewart.
Any student eligible for free or reduced breakfast or lunch must fill out the proper paperwork. This paperwork is required in order to receive the free or reduced breakfast/lunch services.
Fees for the upcoming year are as follows:
PE Uniforms will be $25
Chromebooks for freshmen and new students will be $30
Parking passes are required and will be $25 for ALL student drivers.
Please track your student’s attendance. We need your student here every day and on time. Parents are reminded that students who gain more than 10 unexcused absences during a grading period are subject to failing their course. Please ensure to check your student’s attendance and help us to make sure they are coming to school.
Morning car riders need to be dropped off in front of the school. We do not want students dropped off in the back parking lot. Thank you for your help with this.
Tardies - Please help get your child/children to school on time. First period starts at 8:30 am. All students and families are reminded to please ensure your student arrives on time each day and to each class period. Students who have four or more absences within the nine weeks grading period will be given ISS. If your student has to be late due to a doctor’s appointment, please make sure to provide documentation so it will be counted as excused.
September - This week's digital citizenship tip is to Respect yourself online: "Never post your personal information, such as a cell phone number, address, or the name of your school. If you do, use the privacy settings of social networking sites. "According to a 2011 Online Safety Study, 15% of Americans have never checked their social networking privacy and security account settings. Have you checked yours?
Have Respect: Think before posting your photos. DO NOT post or send semi-nude or nude pictures of yourself or anyone else! Personal Photos should not have revealing information such as school names or location

"See You at the Pole™ is simply a prayer rally where students meet at the school flagpole before school to lift up their friends, families, teachers, school, and nation to God. See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student-organized, and student-led event."
Hailey Balckwell & Paige Tuggle, MHS FCA Presidents will be leading our prayer rally. We hope to see you there!
