Dr. Moody's Weekly Message
Week of 8/23/2020
Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
First, we would like to thank each of you in working with us to have great attendance to our daily classes via zoom over the past week. If you have any issues moving forward with connecting to class via zoom; please reach out to your teacher or guidance counselor for assistance. Our expectation is that every student is present to their online classes, face to face with their teachers via Zoom each class period. For questions regarding our class schedule please check our school website or your student’s canvas shells.
Any student who has yet to pick up a Chromebook or notified MHS that they have their own device must do so as soon as possible. If you have questions regarding Chromebooks or access to Hotspots please contact Ms. Dee Wotring as soon as possible.
This Friday, August 28th marks the end of our 10 day window for students to be included in our yearly student headcount. Any student who has failed to be marked present for a day at MHS will be dropped for attendance. If your student has not had direct contact with their teacher please ensure they do so this week to be marked present for this year.
Also, this Friday, August 28th marks the last day in which students can request a schedule change for this school year. Students requesting a schedule change must complete the schedule request form posted in the grade level Canvas Shells.
As we move into week 2 of our online teaching; we want to thank you for all of your support of our students and teachers. We have had a great start to this year and cannot wait to continue our progress this upcoming week. If you have any needs or questions please do not hesitate to reach out to your teacher, guidance counselor, or administrator. We cannot wait to see everyone on time to their classes tomorrow morning ready to work.
As always, thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!
