Dr. Moody's Weekly Message
Week of 5/3/2020
Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
Our Senior Yard Signs have finally arrived!! All Seniors are invited to come by MHS tomorrow, Monday, May 4th between 11am - 1pm to pick up their signs. Please note that no Senior will have to pay for these signs as they have been donated through our PBIS program at MHS.
Also tomorrow, Monday, May 4th we will have a quick Zoom meeting with our Senior class to discuss options for graduation moving forward starting at 1:30pm. The Rockingham County Board of Education has decided to allow each school to devise plans which best meet the needs of their school and community in regards to this year’s graduation ceremonies. Following the meeting, a survey will be distributed to each Senior in the 2020 class in order to gain feedback regarding your wishes for graduation this year. This survey will help us to plan a graduation ceremony and celebrations picked by our MHS Senior Class. Please make sure to mute yourself and turn off your camera throughout the meeting in order to gain new information regarding graduation possibilities and plans.
At this time all yearbooks have been sold out. If you have any questions regarding wanting to purchase a yearbook; please email Ms. Krista Stewart as soon as possible.
Finally, we will continue our online coursework tomorrow morning. Please make a point to check with your child regarding their progress in Canvas and in each of their classes.
As always, we cannot wait to see everyone online tomorrow morning ready to work. Have a great evening, thank you for your time, stay safe and healthy during this time away from one another, and Go Panthers!!
