Dr. Moody's Weekly Message

Weekly Message

Week of 5/31/2020

Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.

First, we would like to thank everyone who attended our Graduation Parade for the MHS Class of 2020.  Saturday was a special time to recognize our seniors and their accomplishments and we cannot wait for their official graduation ceremony on June 11th at the Eden Drive In starting at 8:45pm.  In the coming days we will provide all Seniors with more detailed information regarding graduation, please be on the lookout in your Canvas shells.

Tomorrow, Monday, June 1st, all seniors will turn in their Chromebooks in a curbside pickup from 11am - 1pm.  Please make sure to bring the Chromebook and charger issued to you at the beginning of this school year.  If you cannot make it during this time, please reach out to Ms. Wotring or your administrator to schedule another time.

All underclassmen will not turn in their Chromebooks this summer and will instead keep them in preparation for next school year.  Please note that all library books and materials must be turned.

Teachers at MHS will be completing all final grades this Wednesday, June 3rd.  Any student who needs to turn in makeup work needs to do so by no later than tomorrow, June 1st.

Finally, Driver’s Education forms have been uploaded into all student’s Canvas shells.  The next course is set for June 8th through June 19th.  For any questions regarding Driver’s Education please reach out to Ms. Sheila Thompson.

As always, we hope that you are staying safe and healthy during this time away.

Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!!
