Dr. Moody's Weekly Message
Week of 6/7/2020
Good Evening Panther Families this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
All seniors can turn in their Chromebooks and any outstanding library books on Monday, June 8th from 10am - 2pm in front of the school. In order to receive their diploma all seniors must have all outstanding balances paid and return their Chromebook. Also, on Monday, seniors may pick up their placards for our graduation ceremony on Thursday, June 11th.
Also, all underclassmen who need to turn in an outstanding library book can do so on Monday, June 8th from 10am - 2pm. Please note that all underclassmen will NOT turn in their Chromebooks this summer and will keep them in preparation for the start of next school year.
Any student who has completed Driver’s Education must turn in their textbook to Ms. Sheila Thompson this Monday, June 8th. This will be a curbside dropoff.
All report cards will be mailed out this week. Please be on the lookout for your child’s report card and contact their teacher or guidance counselor regarding any questions.
Finally, we are excited to have our MHS 2020 Graduation Ceremony at the Eden Drive In starting at 8:45 at night on Thursday, June 11th. In preparation for our ceremony we will have Zoom meetings on Wednesday, June 10th at 11am and 1pm to discuss graduation plans and last minute reminders. Seniors need to check Canvas and their emails this week for an invite to this meeting.
As always, we hope that you stay safe and healthy during this time away from one another.
Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!!
