J.M. Morehead High School
23rd Annual SENIOR SIGN/POSTER NIGHT
MONDAY, May 8, 2023 4:00-6:00 P.M.
Dear Parents/Guardians of Graduating Seniors,
The Morehead Media Center would like to give you the opportunity to do something special for your senior. You are invited to bring a poster decorated with pictures and/or memorabilia to hang in the hall for the duration of the school year. We hope that EVERY senior will be represented with a poster.
Specifications/Guidelines:
Poster size must be 11 inches wide by 28 inches long (SEE DIAGRAM BELOW). This is to ensure that there is space for all seniors to have a poster displayed.
SECURE everything well and DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING OF VALUE. MHS and/or the Media Center are not responsible for any loss or damage to posters. Suggested items include: photos of friends, family, school events, etc., MHS memorabilia, panther paws, red/black. DO NOT INCLUDE PROFANITY OR NUDITY, ANYTHING WITH ALCOHOL, TOBACCO, OR WEAPONS. MHS ADMINISTRATION and/or Media Staff reserve the right to withdraw any poster for offensiveness or inappropriateness.
Bring your poster to the main entrance of MHS on Monday, May 8th, 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm.
Cost is $5 to hang an 11 inch by 28 inch poster. Larger posters, posters requiring additional display support, or posters of different orientation are subject to increased cost. Proceeds support the MHS Media Program and/or the Battle of the Books Program.
Posters will be hung before Friday, May 12th. Parents will be able to view the wall after the Capping Ceremony. Seniors will be responsible for taking down their poster by the last day of school, Wednesday, June 7, 2023. Leftover posters will be discarded; therefore please ensure your senior takes his/her poster before the last day of school.
Thank you so much and congratulations to you and your senior. If you have any questions, please contact me. My contact information is below.
Sincerely,

Dee Wotring
