Weekly Message from Dr. Moody
Week of 1/10/21
Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
This week students will be taking their final exams for all EOC and CTE courses. These exams will take place on campus with students being spread out throughout the building in order to ensure all students are socially distanced.
On Monday, we will take final exams for 1st period, 2nd period exams will take place on Tuesday, 4th period on Wednesday, and 5th period on Thursday. Friday, Jan. 15th will serve as an exam makeup day.
This week we will operate on an early release schedule with all students exiting school by no later than 1:30pm. Please note that we cannot release any students from a testing session until the entire session is complete. We will serve breakfast and lunch this week for any student who comes to take an exam.
All exams will start at 8:30am and our morning check in procedures will start at 7:45am. Please note that any student coming for a final exam must wear an approved face covering and complete the check in procedures prior to entering the building.
For a copy of our final exam schedule, please check our school website for the testing letter which we shared prior to leaving for Christmas break.
As we move towards the end of this semester we ask that you please check your students Canvas accounts for their grade progress. All students must complete any missing assignments by no later than this Friday, January 15th. If you have any questions regarding grades or your student’s progress please contact their teacher or guidance counselor as soon as possible.
As always, we cannot wait to see everyone on time tomorrow morning ready to perform.
Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!!
