Weekly Message from Dr. Moody

Weekly Message

Week of 3/7/21

Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.

This Tuesday, March 9th all MHS Juniors will take the ACT on campus, face to face. As all staff will be utilized to administer the ACT Tuesday will serve as a remote learning day with no live zooms for all students. All other grades must check their canvas shells and complete any attendance forms to be marked present for the day.

In preparation of the ACT we would ask that you please ensure your Junior gets a good night’s rest and come to school on time. Room assignments for the ACT have been posted online. Any student coming to test must complete our check in procedures and wear an approved face covering the entire time. If you have any questions, please contact your students guidance counselor as soon as possible.

Also this Tuesday, our Academic Challenge team will have their first competition of this season in the auditorium starting at 6:30pm. We wish all of our ACC students luck as they work to defend their ACC championship this year.

This Friday, March 12th we invite you to come cheer on our Varsity Football team as they take on rival McMichael for our first home game of the year. Kickoff is set for 6:30pm and all spectators must wear an approved face covering while in the stadium.

Finally, Senior Cap and Gown make up pictures will take place on March 26th. If you have not taken your pictures, this will be the last opportunity for this year. Also, on March 22nd all A day underclassmen will take pictures and on March 25th all B day underclassmen will take pictures. For any questions regarding these dates or pictures please contact Ms. Krista Stewart.

As always, we cannot wait to see everyone on time tomorrow morning, ready to work.

Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!
