Weekly Message

Week of 4/25/21

Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.

Attention Parents of Seniors - the deadline to purchase Senior Recognition Ads in the Yearbook has been extended to this Friday, April 30th. All pictures and messages need to be turned in to Mrs. Stewart by this Friday to be included in this year’s yearbook.

All Students in grades 9-11 who did not have their yearbook picture taken on Picture Day in March are encouraged to submit their own photo using the Google form posted in grade level canvas shells. This must be submitted by this Friday, April 30th. Please note that all pictures must be school appropriate and follow our RCS student dress code guidelines. For any questions please contact Ms. Krista Stewart as soon as possible.

The deadline to order a yearbook is quickly approaching. This year we are not ordering any extra copies, so make sure to pre-order yours at jostensyearbooks.com before it's too late.

This Friday, April 30th we will host our Senior Decision Fun Day and Cookout from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at the practice football field. We hope all of our seniors will come for this exciting day to hang out with your classmates and celebrate your future plans.

This Saturday, May 1st we will have our MHS Senior Prom on campus from 8:00pm to 11:00pm. All ticket sales for Prom must be purchased no later than this Thursday, April 29th. Seniors need to come to the main office in order to purchase their tickets. Any Senior who has not turned in their prom and guest form must do so by no later than this Monday, April 26th.

Finally, the MHS Spring testing schedule has been posted on our website and in your student’s Canvas shell. Please make a point to check our schedule as final testing for this school year is fast approaching. Testing will begin with AP exams starting on May 3rd and go through the remainder of this year.

As always, we cannot wait to see everyone on time tomorrow morning, ready to work.

Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!
