Weekly Message from Dr. Moody

Weekly Message

Week of 5/30/21

Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.

First, we hope that you all enjoyed a safe and restful Memorial Day Holiday and we are so grateful for all of our service members who gave their lives in protection of our freedoms.

This week, EOC and CTE exams for 5th period classes will take place this Tuesday, June 1st. Any student who has missed a CTE or EOC exam will need to report to MHS by 8:30am on Wednesday, June 2nd for our exam makeup period.

Seniors are reminded that graduation practice will take place on Tuesday, June 1st at 2:00pm in the football stadium. Seniors do not need to have their cap and gown with them for practice. Any Senior who does not participate in practice will not be permitted to walk in the official ceremony.

Finally, Graduation will take place this Thursday, June 3rd starting at 7:30pm. All Seniors will receive information regarding arrival times, tickets, and parking at graduation practice.

Parents and families are reminded to enter at either the press box or Pierce Street gate for entrance. Also, anyone coming to watch graduation must have a ticket with them in order for admittance. Gates will close promptly at 7:30pm prior to the start of graduation.

As we finish up this year, we want to thank everyone for their support of our students, staff, and school during this challenging year. We cannot wait to see everyone at graduation and want to congratulate our Class of 2021 Seniors on an amazing accomplishment.

Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!!
