Weekly Message Week of 1/2/22 Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
First, we hope that you all had a safe and restful Holiday Break and were able to spend quality time with your friends and family. We want to wish you all a Happy New Year and are extremely excited for all of the great things in store for Morehead High School in 2022.
This Monday, January 3rd; all RCS schools will be closed for students as this is an optional teacher workday. All students will return to school on Tuesday, January 4th on our regular bell schedule.
Also, this Wednesday, January 5th we will have our teacher made exams for any non-EOC or CTE course for 1st and 4th periods. On Thursday, January 6th all students will take their teacher made exams for 2nd and 5th period courses and on Friday, January 7th any student who missed their teacher made exam will have a chance for a makeup during each class period. Please note that throughout this week we will operate on a normal bell schedule.
Any student wishing to check out early during EOC / CTE Exams the week of Jan 10th must complete the Early Checkout Form and return it to their first period teacher or the main office by this Wednesday, January 5th. Please note that these forms will be available in first period classes, our school website, and in the main office. Please note that all forms must be signed by a parent or guardian.
Finally, we invite everyone out to our Beginning Theater Performance this Thursday, January 6th in the Auditorium starting at 7:00pm. We hope that you will join us to see all of our beginning theater students and their talents.
