Weekly Message from Dr. Moody

Weekly Message

Week of 1/23/22

Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.

We hope that you all stayed safe and warm during last week’s winter storm and we are excited to welcome our students back in the building for the start of the second semester tomorrow, Monday, January 24th. Student names and their first period teachers will be posted on the lockers throughout the main hallway to help students know where to go tomorrow morning. Once all students arrive for first period, they will be given a hard copy of their second semester schedule.

Students and families are reminded that as we begin the second semester all tardies have reset for each student. As we move into this semester any student with four or more tardies during a nine weeks period will receive ISS and additional disciplinary action if needed. We ask that you please make sure your student arrives at each class on time and ready to work.

All students will receive a copy of their first semester report card this Tuesday, January 25th. If you have any questions regarding your students' grades, please contact their administrator or guidance counselor as soon as possible.

Finally, our MHS Robotics Team will host the MHS Robotics Tournament in the new gym this Saturday, January 29th. We wish our MHS Robotics Team and Mr. Dooley luck and hope cannot wait to see them showcase their hard work and talents this weekend.

As always, we cannot wait to see all of our students back in the building tomorrow morning, on time and ready to work. Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!!!
