Week of 3/27/22
Good Evening Panther Families, this is Ryan Moody, Principal of Morehead High School with this week’s weekly message.
This week our Math I students will be completing check-ins during their regular Math I class times. Please make sure your student comes to school each day and encourage them to do their best on these assessments in order to gain valuable data for remediation and reteaching needs.
This Wednesday, March 30th our students will be completing Student Voice Surveys during RCS Ready time. These surveys will provide us valuable information regarding how our students feel about our school, our support, and their overall experience at MHS.
We are asking that all of our students participate in the surveys, as their feedback will provide valuable insights into their experiences and how we can improve and adapt our school to their needs. The information we receive will be confidential. Parents wishing to opt out of the activity must visit our website and complete the signed opt out form prior to March 30th and submit it to our school. You only need to fill out the letter if you DO NOT want your child to participate.
Finally, this Saturday, April 2nd we will host our MHS Senior Prom at the Wright Memorial Event Center starting at 8:00pm. Seniors must have turned in their prom form by last Friday and tickets must be purchased from Ms. Gammons by this Wednesday, March 30th. All tickets will be distributed at lunch on Friday, April 1st. Following prom, attendees and their guests are invited to our MHS Prom Breakfast at Osborne Church starting at 11:30pm. This fun and exciting event is a chance for our students to enjoy a safe after Prom event and win some exciting prizes.
As always, we cannot wait to see everyone on time tomorrow morning, ready to work. Thank you for your time, have a great evening, and Go Panthers!
